While studying fashion design, this young Cape Town-based creative started her own jewelry brand, designing and producing each Slat Necklace herself. After graduating, she joined forces with a friend (who had studied fine art) to create a constantly evolving collection of refreshingly simple designs. 

Their small team creates the pieces in their workshop in Cape Town. They use recycled brass and silver mined in South Africa – obsessing over every detail of craftsmanship, which is why their startup is still thriving ten years later.
