This handbag will wear beautifully over time with normal precautions and will benefit from standard leather care. The leather will wear and show markings, creating a patina unique to its owner. Avoid contact with water, oils, creams, perfumes, staining liquids and rough or abrasive materials. Avoid contact with fabrics in a contrasting color to the handbag as color transfer may occur. For long-term storage, fill with tissue paper to maintain shape, zip any zippers, and place upright in a dust bag without anything stacked on top or tightly alongside in a temperate environment.

Moroccan Carpet Panel Bag

This designer’s leather bags from Morocco bring new life to old artifacts. The Moroccan Carpet Panel Bag's colorful panels come from hand-woven Moroccan rugs – many of the rugs are over a hundred years old and no longer useful due to other sections being beyond repair.

The leather is sustainably sourced in small amounts to match their limited production – whether offcuts from other small scale manufacturers or dead stock from larger producers.

Her husband and his family manage production of twelve employees in the workshop in Casablanca. It takes a day to put together one bag.
